From source data to a checked reporting package.
A native macOS application and command-line tool I built for preparing, validating and packaging Czech tax, insurance and payroll documents.
The task
Reporting work involves more than producing a file. Client details, form requirements, dates and supporting documents must agree. Sable brings preparation and validation into the same tool so problems can be identified before a package leaves the application.
The product
The desktop application supports client records and document preparation. The CLI makes the supported generation and validation tasks repeatable. Both use the same underlying rules, rather than separate implementations that can drift apart.
My work
I develop the native application, document generators, validation and packaging tools. Development is driven by accounting work and by explicit checks of the outputs. The separate accounting-journal functionality is still under development and is not presented as a complete accounting platform.
